概要

Women often fail to change their sanitary napkins in a timely manner for various reasons. This product can prompt women to change their sanitary napkins in a timely manner through unconscious means.

経緯

My idea stems from the fact that women often fail to change sanitary napkins in a timely manner due to various reasons, which increases the risk of gynecological infections. Through observation, I noticed that sanitary napkin packages usually include a small sticker. By improving this sticker, the product aims to achieve reminder functionality. Meanwhile, "period shame" is a common phenomenon in China, and this product can also help alleviate such social stigma to a certain extent.

機能

Through research, it is known that sanitary napkin packages generally include a sticker for fixing the napkin. Based on the concept of unconscious design, people tend to stick attractive stickers on their bodies or in conspicuous places. Therefore, we have redesigned this sticker by adding a delayed color-changing function. When it is time to change the sanitary napkin, the sticker will turn from light to dark, thus reminding women to replace it in a timely manner.

開発過程

We have noticed that due to being too busy at work or lacking a sense of time, many Chinese women fail to change their sanitary napkins in a timely manner during daily life or work, which is detrimental to their health. Meanwhile, the stereotype of "period shame" is prevalent among Chinese women, who often consider menstruation a topic too embarrassing to discuss openly. Therefore, after preliminary research and brainstorming, we decided to optimize the product itself and its design, applying the concept of unconscious design to continuously improve the product.

差別化

The product stands out from others in that it incorporates a delayed design without adding any extra elements to the product itself. It only utilizes existing components to optimize and redesign the old product, while introducing the concept of rejecting "period shaming".

将来の計画

I hope that if the judges approve of our product, it can be put into production to benefit women.
