Qué te inspiró
The inspiration came from the traditional Chinese pulse diagnosis, where health status is assessed through pulse reading. By combining modern technology, I aimed to provide users with an accessible way to monitor their health, particularly for those with limited access to medical resources. Converting pulse data into music not only serves as an innovative method of delivery but also allows health information to be conveyed in a more emotional and intuitive form, helping users better understand their health.
Cómo funciona
The Disease Detection Gloves are equipped with sensors that detect users' pulse data through touch. This data is analyzed in real time by an embedded microcontroller and converted into music signals. Different pulse waveforms correspond to different health conditions, with variations in tone, rhythm, and melody providing intuitive feedback on health status. Users can monitor their health simply by wearing the gloves, with the music feedback helping them understand and perceive their health without the need for complex instruments or specialized knowledge.
Proceso de diseño
I combined the concept of traditional Chinese pulse diagnosis with modern technology to create a smart glove capable of detecting pulse data and providing health feedback through music. First, I selected sensors suitable for pulse detection and integrated them with a microcontroller for data analysis. Next, I designed an algorithm to convert pulse signals into music, using variations in tone, rhythm, and other elements to reflect the user’s health status. After several rounds of prototyping and testing, I optimized the glove’s comfort, data transmission stability, and accuracy of music feedback, ensuring the product’s practicality and ease of use. Finally, after adjustments and refinements, the product entered the production stage, ensuring stable functionality and design reliability.
Qué lo hace diferente
What makes the Disease Detection Gloves unique is their combination of traditional pulse diagnosis with modern technology, using pulse data to create music feedback that provides users with a completely new, emotional way to monitor their health. Unlike traditional health monitoring devices, it does not rely on complex medical instruments but instead uses a wearable device to convey health status in an intuitive way. The music feedback not only makes health information easier to perceive but also helps users understand their health status on a sensory level. This design breaks the limitations of traditional health monitoring, making health data more interactive and perceivable.
Planes para el futuro
In the future, I plan to further improve the design of the Disease Detection Gloves by adding more health monitoring features, such as real-time tracking of heart rate, body temperature, and other data, with more detailed health reports provided through a mobile app. I also hope to optimize the sensors for greater accuracy and comfort, and explore the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning to offer more personalized health recommendations. Ultimately, I aim for this project to enable more people to easily and conveniently monitor their health, raising their health awareness.
