Your inspiration

Noticing lonely seniors in China's aging society, we developed a digital solution blending healthcare and culture. Combining VR travel, TCM dietary therapy, and telemedicine, our app addresses both physical and emotional needs through accessible tech, inspired by Japan's elderly-friendly innovations and pandemic-era digital healthcare trends.

How it works

The "Elderly-friendly Cloud Travel Healing APP" integrates React Native frontend, CNN emotion recognition, and 5G+VR for senior-friendly health services. It features dialect voice control, AI-powered CBT therapy, TCM-based diet advice, and blockchain-secured medical data. With IoT emergency alerts and edge computing, it delivers low-latency, personalized elderly care solutions.

Design process

The "Age-friendly Cloud Travel & Healing App" was developed through a rigorous human-centered design process. We began with ethnographic research, conducting 50+ interviews with seniors to identify pain points in digital health engagement. Our initial prototype featured a simplified three-tap interface with adjustable font/contrast, validated through usability testing with elderly focus groups. Key iterations included: 1) Adding dialect voice control after observing 68% of users struggling with Mandarin input; 2) Developing an emergency SOS system with fall detection after caregiver consultations; 3) Implementing AI mood analysis through facial recognition (with privacy safeguards) to personalize VR nature therapy content. The high-fidelity prototype was built using Figma with 5G latency simulations, while blockchain health data modules were tested via Hyperledger Fabric sandbox.

How it is different

Our "Age-friendly Cloud Travel Therapy APP" stands out by seamlessly integrating geriatric healthcare with cultural tourism through cutting-edge digital solutions. Unlike conventional meditation apps (e.g., Headspace), we combine AI-powered personalized therapy (with dialect voice control for accessibility) and 5G-enabled VR/AR scenic immersion tailored for seniors. Key differentiators include: 1. Blockchain-secured health data for trust (absent in competitors like "潮汐"); 2. Three-tap operation + emergency SOS addressing elderly-specific UX challenges; 3. "Digital therapy + TCM food therapy" dual system bridging physical/mental care gaps.

Future plans

This design will evolve into a comprehensive senior wellness ecosystem by integrating IoT health monitoring devices and expanding VR travel content. We plan to partner with geriatric hospitals to develop AI-driven preventive care modules, while enhancing blockchain-based data security. The next phase focuses on building an intergenerational social platform and obtaining medical device certification for digital therapeutics.
