Leading a college life where I constantly run into problems carrying my groceries from home and don't meet many comfort or preservation requirements for my own experience.

Cómo funciona

You choose the meals that best suit your daily diet and use your kit as a conventional lunch box, but with better sustainability and conservation than most lunch boxes.

Proceso de diseño

The development of Nuba began with the identification of real needs of young people with active and urban routines, who require practical and sustainable solutions to transport food. From interviews, review of sources and analysis of habits, problems such as lack of adaptation to different types of food, spills, poor use of space and low durability in conventional products were detected. Based on these findings, we designed a modular system of specialized cookers according to the type of food (liquid, dry, cold, desserts, beverages), selecting sustainable and functional materials such as stainless steel, sugarcane bagasse, recycled aluminum and recycled PET. The pouches were designed with a geometry of 22x22 cm to optimize space in backpacks and remain modular. In addition, a compact thermos and a lunch box specially designed to contain the modular system. Finally, the branding of the “Nuba” brand was developed, with a visual identity in blue and white tones that transmits cleanliness, freshness and order.

Nuba differentiates itself by offering a modular and customizable system that adapts to the active lifestyle of young people. Through specialized pouches for different types of food, sustainable materials selected according to their function, and a compact design compatible with backpacks, Nuba combines functionality, aesthetics and ecological awareness. Its stackable system allows everything to be transported in a single, safe and practical block, ideal for the urban routine.

Planes para el futuro

In the future, the project has the potential to develop new materials to improve or open more product lines and is subject to further improve the kit and its components benefiting its principles of comfort, sustainability and conservation.
