What it does

The simple panel and user-friendly interaction can greatly improve the problem of elderly people having difficulty registering for medical treatment alone

Your inspiration

In the hospital, I found that many elderly people would rather wait in long lines at artificial windows than go to smart registration machines or online registration. Ultimately, this is because the elderly do not know how to use them and have a certain resistance to complex smart products. Therefore, I want to create a simple, clear, interactive, and approachable registration machine to help those elderly people who come to the hospital alone and do not know how to register

How it works

When elderly people come to the Youjian registration machine, the machine automatically recognizes their status. They can stand upright or use a wheelchair to adjust the height of the screen and console based on their height. At the same time, the large text and option modules on the operation panel provide simple operations for the elderly. With the help of the intelligent assistance system, they can complete their own department registration and mark the approximate location of the department on the secondary screen to help the elderly accurately find the department

Design process

Mainly came up with some concepts, extracted them into keywords, and used AI tools to generate large-scale renderings

How it is different

I think the most important thing about my product is to consider elderly people of different heights. Based on human factors engineering analysis, the screen and console can meet the length of various parts of the human body, making it comfortable and reassuring for the elderly to operate; Secondly, my concise and clear operation panel can also be the source of my competitiveness compared to other products. It is easy to understand, with large font size and loud voice broadcasting, and is designed to adapt to aging and seamlessly integrated with the registration machine

Future plans

I hope my work can be appreciated, and I will continue to pay attention to the performance of elderly people in hospitals in my daily life, adding new functions to my registration machine to benefit the elderly population
