What it does
By positioning the fan above the head, this design maximizes spatial freedom and delivers uninterrupted airflow that alleviates eye dryness
Your inspiration
I wanted to use a fan while sitting at my computer, but the desk made it difficult to find a suitable space to place it. Placing the fan elsewhere caused dry eyes or blocked airflow. While trying to solve this problem, I was inspired by a microphone stand I recently bought that moves freely on the desk.
How it works
Attach the Sky Ring device to the desk. Adjust the fan arm to the appropriate height. Secure it moderately using the auxiliary device attached to the screw. Wrap the string multiple times to fix the position.
Design process
At first, I planned to use a jointed structure like a microphone stand, but I felt it was unnecessary and decided to make it with a single straight rod.
How it is different
Other fans placed on desks can be distracting or visible while working at the desk, but my design exists above empty space, so it doesn’t interfere. It is built with the simplest possible structure, making assembly and adjustment easy for anyone.
Future plans
I want to attach a light to the fan so that the brightness can also be adjusted.
