What it does
The rail-type pole allows the outlet to move freely up, down, left, and right depending on the situation, reducing concerns about the length or snagging of the cord.
Your inspiration
There is an outlet under the bed, and I started to think about it because I felt uncomfortable with the cord when I got up from bed or turned over to the opposite side.
How it works
It operates on the principle of placing a mechanism corresponding to a rail through which electricity flows, and the attachment/detachment function has been made easier to attach/detach.
Design process
1. Problem definition: Inconvenience of using outlets 2. Target: People with inconvenience of using outlets, construction workers 3. Core values: Freedom of outlets 4. Concept: Outlets utilizing electric rails 5. Concept sketch 6. Search and explore the operating principles of rail lighting and outlet concepts 7. Create and render in 3D
How it is different
Similar products are rail lights, and the difference is that they can be used on walls, not just ceilings, and the power supply wire can move freely in one direction.
Future plans
We want to supply places with a lot of people moving around, such as cafes or construction sites with a lot of hazardous materials..
