headphones have become an indispensable part of people's daily life, especially on public transportation such as subways and buses, people often use headphones to isolate the noise from the outside world and immerse themselves in their own music world. However, while we have found that headphones, while they provide convenience, they also often isolate people from the outside world, miss out on opportunities to interact with their surroundings, and may even ignore important safety information. This one-way, passive use doesn't take full advantage of the potential of headphones as smart products to improve quality of life.
How it works
At the heart of the design of the OMNILINK headset is its innovative interactive technology and multi-functional integration, which work together to provide users with a completely new listening and interactive experience. First of all, the earbuds feature a magnetic slide closure design, which not only allows the earbuds to fold compactly when not in use, making them easy to carry, but also automatically activates when opened, providing an intuitive and elegant way to open. This magnetic suction mechanism ensures the stability of the headset in the folded state, while reducing mechanical wear and extending the life of the product. Design process
OMNILINK headphone design goes through a rigorous and meticulous creative process from concept to finished product. Initially, we looked at people's habits of using headphones in public transportation and determined the main goal of the design: to create a smart headset that would enhance the user experience and enhance human-machine interaction. During the concept phase, we conducted extensive market research and user interviews to ensure that the design met the needs of the target user group. Using the principles and data of ergonomics, we made an initial plan for the size, shape and weight of the headphones to ensure that they were ergonomic and comfortable to wear. During the design phase, we used CAD software to create a dimensional model of the headset and went through several iterations to optimize the exterior design and internal structure of the headset. We paid special attention to the mechanical design of the magnetic slide cover to ensure that it is both beautiful and functional, and can work reliably in different use scenarios. We conducted multiple rounds of user testing, collected feedback and made improvements based on user inputs.
