The existing household air conditioner has the problem of uneven temperature in the air outlet area and direct air blowing of the air conditioner, which is easy to cause the adverse effects of air conditioning disease and wind chill on human health. Help multi-family members design a multi-dimensional flexible air supply hanging angle air conditioner, with a variety of air outlet modes such as anti-direct blowing function.
How it works
The triangle and hexagonal shape are used as the basic shape of the air inlet and outlet, which can accelerate the convergence of air and evenly disperse and blow out. According to the position of the human body and the layout of the space, the air supply can be accurately set according to intelligent control (surrounding air outlet, long-distance air outlet, canopy type cold air, floor heating type hot air). The air deflector can be parameterized and arranged freely by monitoring the position of the human body, imitating the rhythm characteristics of ice crystals to avoid direct blowing of air, and creating a flexible airflow effect according to the principle of small rise of heating density and high density of cold air sinking, so as to adapt to the needs of various groups of people and use flexibly.
Design process
With a new design thinking for the design blend, the natural modeling elements into it, such as snowflakes, honeycombs and other hexagonal elements, its unique modeling properties to meet the "form follows function" design concept. According to the ergonomic analysis and the golden ratio, the position of the fuselage display operation interface is determined, and this positioning segmentation is also in line with Mondrian's deconstructivism, innovation and cocooning, looking for new geometric ideas to construct. The hexagonal air outlet unit with the optimal structure generated by the fluid dynamics algorithm follows the Fibonacci sequence ratio to achieve the best airflow distribution effect. The application of the characteristics of the Lelo triangle in the design of the wind turbine, combined with the cross-flow fan, can achieve more stable and efficient air circulation. Referring to the hexagonal elements in nature, its rules can be realized in Grasshopper and model data can be made, and the bionic texture parametric design is taken as the core of the wind deflector, breaking the conventional single air duct and double air duct, and using a more natural texture form to meet the design needs, so as to achieve "multi-dimensional air outlet".
How it is different
The three vertices of the Lelo triangle are at equal distances from the center, and its circumscribed circle remains the same during rotation. This unique shape ensures a compact body and increases the air inlet and outlet area. Compared to traditional round or square sections, the Leylo triangle allows air to flow more smoothly inside the body, promoting air scattering and fluidity. Through multi-dimensional airflow control, "wind moves with people", reduces the incidence of air conditioning diseases, deconstructs the application potential of hexagons in airflow control, optimizes the efficiency of air inlet and outlet by combining the Lailuo triangle cross-section, and builds a multi-mode intelligent air supply system including surrounding air supply, long-distance air supply, precise air supply, canopy cold air, floor heating hot air, etc.

The purpose of this study is to realize the functional upgrade of air conditioner from environmental control to health management through the linkage of parametric design and smart home applications, and provide new ideas for humanized and parametric design in the field of home appliances.
