What it does
A personalized cooking home assistant that enhances users' cooking experience, plans cooking processes, and digitally recreates the flavors of Michelin chefs.
Your inspiration
According to our observations, in complex kitchen scenarios, the noisy cooking sounds cause users to repeatedly adjust the volume. In addition, due to lack of time, the firepower/temperature is forcibly increased, resulting in burning. Due to incorrect time estimation, the food is processed early/delayed. Most users have cooking anxiety and are worried about overturning, so they are forced to simplify the menu. Existing smart cooking equipment has no memory function in manual mode and needs to be reset every time it is restarted. The existing electronic recipe pre-made programs are solidified, and local flavors cannot be restored.
How it works
The product can be activated by voice, "coco, please turn on the machine", and users can select personalized recipes on the device or mobile phone, and start cooking with one click. Users can follow the teaching instructions or videos to learn and deeply experience the cooking process. The machine controls the grams of oil, salt, sauce and vinegar added, as well as the heat and time of stir-frying through precise algorithms. The small camera next to the machine can record the entire cooking process in real time, learn the user's cooking habits, and interact and encourage the user through the expressions on the LCD screen. When not cooking, the small machine can be removed from the whole machine, and flexibly connected to other smart appliances in the home, and the appliances can be automatically started and shut down and adjusted in use through voice.
Design process
We have done a lot of research and found that with the popularization and development of AI technology, kitchen appliances will no longer be a boring cooking tool in the future. The future of kitchen appliances will be more intelligent, portable and personalized. In this context, we conducted a large-scale survey of cooking people, scenarios and competing products, and finally focused on the middle and high-end users born in the 1990s. They pay more attention to product intelligence and convenience than those born in the 1980s. In addition, many people born in the 1990s are about to become the main decision makers of the family and their consumption capacity is more considerable than that of those born in the 2000s. We further focused on the population and made user portraits, mainly for dual-income families. Most of their cooking concepts pursue healthy nutrition and cooking efficiency, and they have a good acceptance of intelligent products. After the scene population is confirmed, we have a deep understanding of the problems and behavioral performances of these users during daily cooking and cooking at dinner parties, such as 1. Frequently checking the time during cooking, forcing the fire to increase due to time confusion, resulting in burning.
How it is different
It is a people-oriented, portable, efficient and warm cooking experience that deeply integrates AI technology. Compared with the pre-made and solidified programs of traditional smart kitchen appliances, it has the functions of self-perception, learning and feedback, just like a family secretary who helps you cook together. It realizes the digital multi-meal cooking process, helps users plan cooking steps and calculate cooking time, realizes completely personalized diet customization, and manages electronic recipes through cooking traces to create a unique taste for a family.
Future plans
At present, the design has completed the production of prototypes and multiple iterations of the design. It is hoped that the feasibility of the structure can be further verified and the contradictory relationship between structure and appearance can be coordinated. Ultimately, it is hoped that the product can be truly used and bring a good experience to people.
