"The inspiration for this design came from a video I saw on a social platform featuring a blind content creator cooking in his kitchen. In the video, he gingerly felt his way around the stove - sometimes alarmed by misjudged oil temperature, other times overjoyed at successfully completing a dish. This stark contrast struck me deeply: what's routine for most people remains a high-stakes challenge for the visually impaired. It made me wonder - in our technologically advanced age, why can't we enable our blind friends to cook safely and dignifiedly?
How it works
This product is an intelligent auto-cooking wok with deep smartphone app integration, utilizing innovative technologies to deliver safe and convenient automated cooking. The pot employs magnetic coupling drive technology with six high-precision electromagnetic coils at the base, enabling precise temperature control within 150-220°C (±2°C). An integrated tri-axis gravity sensor (±10g accuracy) monitors ingredient weight changes in real-time, while a non-contact infrared temperature module (3 scans/second) provides comprehensive cooking status monitoring. The mobile app ensures real-time communication via Bluetooth 5.2 + WiFi dual-mode connection, featuring adaptive audio codec technology that maintains 95% voice command accuracy even in noisy kitchen environments, along with visual ingredient recognition for automatic recipe generation.
Design process
The product development originated from in-depth observation of cooking challenges faced by the visually impaired.
