What it does

Liverly is one of the first spatial therapeutic tools for Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease, a chronic condition affecting 32% of the global population with no pharmaceutical treatments. It uses immersive, non-invasive cellular therapy to support recovery.

Your inspiration

Inspired by the invisible struggle of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), a chronic condition affecting 32% of the global population with no pharmaceutical treatments, I was moved by how many people live with liver disease unknowingly, until the damage is irreversible. The science is there, but the tools are not. Research in circadian rhythm and autophagy showed results but lacked accessible tools. I created Liverly to translate this science into a supportive therapeutic journey. Liverly is an immersive, non-invasive therapy grounded in circadian rhythm and autophagy science to support liver recovery and long-term wellness.

How it works

Liverly uses mixed reality to transform liver science into an interactive health experience. Built in Unity, it features personalized 3D visualizations of liver biomarkers including ATP levels, oxidative stress, and lysosomal activity. Users engage with guided therapeutic modules, such as circadian rhythm timers, autophagy cycles, and recovery graphs. The system translates complex cellular processes into real-time insights using voice, hand, and gaze-based interaction. Designed for accessibility, Liverly works on both VR and phone to create an immersive yet calming space, supporting users in reversing NAFLD and improving liver function through daily micro-interventions.

Design process

Liverly runs on a mixed reality headset and uses gaze, hand, and voice interaction to guide users through immersive, scientifically grounded modules. Built in Unity, the experience visualizes key biomarkers—ATP, oxidative stress, lysosomal activity—while offering feedback loops based on circadian rhythm and autophagy science. Users track cellular activity, align with daily biological rhythms, and learn how small actions impact liver function over time. Visuals are calming, interfaces are intuitive, and insights are personalized. Liverly transforms invisible processes into tangible, proactive steps toward liver recovery.

How it is different

Liverly is one of the world’s first therapeutic tools using mixed reality to visualize and treat liver disease. Most liver health tools rely on abstract data or static dashboards—Liverly brings those biomarkers to life. Users don’t just see a number; they step into a space that reflects their internal state. Liverly visualizes ATP levels, lysosomal activity, and cellular stress, giving users real-time insight into how their actions affect liver health. This non-invasive, science-backed, deeply engaging approach fills a major gap in chronic disease care. Liverly redefines what liver therapy can look and feel like.

Future plans

Next, I plan to pilot Liverly through research collaborations with hepatology clinics and circadian rhythm experts. My goal is to validate its therapeutic impact on NAFLD through clinical feedback and biometric tracking. From there, I hope to expand Liverly’s reach through partnerships with public health organizations and digital therapeutics companies. Long-term, Liverly may evolve into a broader platform for liver and metabolic health—using spatial computing to offer sustainable, empowering alternatives to pharmaceutical-heavy care. I envision Liverly as a category-defining tool for mixed reality wellness.
