What it does

This is an intelligent adjustable chair. Aiming at the potential blood circulation obstruction caused by prolonged sitting in wheelchairs, the seat cushion helps users activate sedentary body parts by changing its shape.

Your inspiration

The professor gave me a suggestion.Through model experiments, it was found that magnetofluid is indeed more reliable

How it works

The internal structure of the seat cushion can achieve dynamic flow changes by controlling the position and activation of electromagnets.

Design process

1. Intelligent variable seat cushionCushion is composed of small airbags. We can control each small airbag to deflate or inflate, changing the shape of the entire cushion.2. Wear sitting posture correctionA wearable device that can both change the position of wheelchair users and correct their spines3. A chair for changing sitting postureChange the position of the support, alter the sitting and lying postures, raise the feet, and relieve the long-term pressure on the feet and buttocks. Device that can help wheelchair users stand up. If pressure sores are caused by prolonged sitting, you can try to get them to stand up. he seat cushion is filled with ferrofluid. When the electromagnet is powered on, it attracts the magnetic fluid to gather and change the shape of the seat cushion, while retaining the soft feeling of the seat cushion

How it is different

The seat cushion is filled with ferrofluid. When the electromagnet is powered on, it attracts the magnetic fluid to gather and change the shape of the seat cushion, while retaining the soft feeling of the seat cushion.

Future plans

Users can adjust the seat cushion by pressing the button.
