What it does
Based on L4 assisted driving functions, in the future, people will not have to work in fixed office places but can drive to their own comfortable environments, making office work more free and comfortable.
Your inspiration
We envision that once the ideal society is reached in the future, the office setting will undergo a transformation. In the future, people will not be confined to specific working scenarios but can drive their vehicles to any place they want to go, such as forests, beaches, and other natural environments for work. To provide people with a more comfortable working experience, We have decided to design an intelligent cockpit that can meet the needs of office workers, and at the same time, boldly innovate the layout of the cockpit to solve their pain points.
How it works
There is a large fish-shaped screen on the front dashboard, equipped with a head-up display (HUD) function. In front of the desktop, there is a foldable and storable steering wheel, which adopts line control operation technology and can move left and right along with the seat. When the driver's seat is on the left, it is the driving position. When it is moved to the middle, it becomes the office position. The driver's seat can rotate 360 degrees, and there is a control knob on the armrest. The side seats can be folded. By opening the door in pairs, the side seats extend outside the vehicle, meeting the needs of people who want to relax outdoors. The left rear seat can be moved between the second and third rows. There is a display screen behind the first row seat for users to use. The side seat can be unfolded when stopped and used as a sofa bed. The armrest box can be moved forward and backward.
Design process
Through research, I have found that autonomous driving has now developed to the L4 level, and in the future, L4-assisted driving will be widely applied. Meanwhile, research the current cases of intelligent cockpits. For example, NIO eve conducts variable space design around various scenarios of people's lives. With a 5+1 living room level layout, it truly turns the car into a mobile living space. The HYUNDAY LONIQ 7 is the premium lounge, and the cabin design is very cutting-edge. Based on this, I studied the possibilities of various cockpit layouts. Through successive iterations, I finally arrived at a reasonable layout method. Under the guidance of my teacher, I continuously improved and enriched my design.
How it is different
The product adopts new and clean energy. The interior design features matcha green and off-white, and is made of environmentally friendly materials such as cotton and linen fabric, bamboo and wood, bio-resin, and carbon fiber. At the same time, the cabin layout of it features an unprecedented way for the side seats to extend outside the vehicle when the door is opened in a double manner, providing people with a newer and more diverse cabin experience. The desktop layout is designed to be more suitable for office workers, and the dividing line in the middle allows office materials to be placed on the upper layer. There is a groove for placing books on the left door frame of the car cabin. The cabin also adopts VR and AR journey recording experiences, allowing you to record the scenes you have visited and project them into the cabin later. The lights and air vents simulate the state at that time, providing an immersive experience.
Future plans
We hope that car manufacturers can cooperate to verify the rationality of this concept design, continuously modify and improve it, and conduct evaluation tests. Through this process, we will predict the commercial value and feasibility of the product, and then proceed with the next plan.
