Project REBIRTH was born not in a lab, but from a moment of heartbreak. After the June 2025 Ahmedabad crash, my mother couldn’t sleep. She kept thinking about the fear the passengers and pilots must have felt, knowing there was no way out. That helplessness haunted us. Why isn’t there a system for survival after failure? I shared this with a friend. That emotional storm became hours of research and design. REBIRTH is more than engineering—it’s a response to grief. A promise that survival can be planned, and that even after failure, there can be a second chance.

Project REBIRTH is a system for airplanes that helps people survive crashes. It uses five smart technologies to predict crashes, slow the aircraft, protect passengers, and aid rescuers. AI Detection: An AI system monitors altitude, speed, engine status, direction, fire, and pilot response. If a crash is unavoidable below 3,000 ft, it activates automatically (override possible). Airbags: High-speed airbags deploy from the nose, belly, and tail in under 2 sec. Made of layered fabric, they absorb impact and protect the plane’s body. Reverse Thrust: If engines work, reverse thrust slows descent. If not, gas thrusters activate. This reduces speed and stabilizes the plane by 8–20%. Smart Fluids: Non-Newtonian fluids behind walls and seats stay soft but harden on impact to reduce injuries. Rescue Aids: A bright orange shell, GPS, infrared beacons, and exit lights help rescuers locate the crash site. REBIRTH can be added to existing planes or built into new ones.

Project REBIRTH addresses what happens when crash is inevitable. We focused on three pillars: cushioning impact, reducing descent speed, and absorbing energy. Researching aircraft crash reports, military landing systems, and smart fluids like STF, we learned most fatalities result from impact—not explosion. We designed AI-triggered airbags at the nose, belly, and tail. A 1:12 prototype used CO₂ canisters, Raspberry Pi sensors, and staggered deployment logic. Smart materials like Kevlar, TPU, Zylon, and STF were tested to absorb energy. To reduce speed, we proposed reverse thrust via micro solid-fuel thrusters or drag parachutes. Simulations showed impact force reduction over 60%. AI coordinates all parts: monitoring descent rate, g-force, and vibrations to trigger the sequence. The system alerts pilots, deploys airbags directionally, slows descent, and prepares cabin for crash. Expert feedback led to pilot overrides, safety seals, and modular designs. Today, REBIRTH is ready for scaled testing, with schematics, simulations, and materials data prepared. Our goal is to partner with aerospace labs for crash sled and wind tunnel testing. REBIRTH isn’t just a concept—it’s a survival revolution.

الخطط المستقبلية

We plan to build working models of REBIRTH’s main parts—AI crash detection, airbags, smart seat liners, reverse thrust, and rescue signals. We'll test them in labs with experts using wind tunnels and drop tests. We want to partner with plane makers, safety groups, and governments to get certified. REBIRTH is designed to fit into old planes too, so airlines can install it quickly. We’ll start a company to grow the idea, file patents, and get support. In five years, we want REBIRTH to be tested, approved, and used in real flights—making crash survival a standard, not a miracle.
