Function

A mist nozzle inside the basin can produce mist which is mixture of water and soap to wet our hand. Later, water nozzle will spray water with medium velocity to clean our hand. Whole process is fully control by IC, not only can save our time and it also save the usage of water. High velocity water can helps in cleaning our hands, like the high pressure jet that we use in industrial for cleaning purpose, but in a small scale and lower pressure. The motion sensor can detect the hand and start the washing process automatically. Washing process was set in 30 second to finish all the process. The LCD in front of the basin will tell the user about the time remains to finish. Compare to common water tap, it is more clean and convenient because the user will never contact to the tap which had a lot of bacteria. And the UV bulb inside the basin will turn on automatically to kill the bacteria to ensure a clean environment for users to clean their hands

Inspiration

Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Influenza A (H1N1) virus are some of the disease that threaten human life. This can avoid by having a good habit to keep our hands clean. Washing our hand should be no problem for everyone, but busy life leads us just simply use plain water to wash not soap water. So, a fully automatic mist washer is needed to achieve 3 targets: easy, clean and fast Another problem is the usage of water. There are only 1% of water is clean, it will be a serious issue in the future about the usage of water. So, this mist washer can reduce the usage of water to minimum because of the high pressure water nozzle. Compare to common water tap, mist washer is more environmental friendly. Since UV light can kill bacteria, it is apply in mist washer to keep the environment free from bacteria

Development

Each mist washer has their own motor to drive a water pump which will increase the pressure of the water. So ,it can use in any places where faces a water pressure problem. Since this mist washer is automatically, it can ensure that bacteria-free from the basin. The unique design of mist washer can us clean it easily. In future development, this mist washer can combine a hand dryer. This can reduce the uses of tissue. Furthermore, a set of motion sensor not only can detect the motion but it can read the motion and understand it. This sensor can make mist washer more intelligent and user friendly. All of this function combine together will make this mist washer perfect in future. This mist washer can apply in hospital, school, toilet, office and laboratory. Finally, washing your hand is not difficult as you think; it is easy, fast, and clean!
